Hot on the heels of being a Boss Awards Finalist in November, the Nemo Office Club Keep It Local campaign has now been shortlisted for the European Office Products Initiative of the Year Award.
The Keep It Local campaign was launched by the dealer group to provide members with a platform to promote the benefits of buying local, utilising the unique marketing and lead generating tools available. Managing Director, Tim Beaumont acknowledged: “We are naturally delighted to once again be shortlisted for an award, the Keep It Local initiative continues to gain momentum and is now at the heart of all marketing for many of our members.
“The real success is down to how we have been able to raise the profile on a national scale whilst providing members with the tools to build on the back of that publicity in their own local area. Centrally we have sent letters to Boris Johnson and Michael Gove which have had thousands of views on social media, at the same time dealers have been in communication with their own local MPs for support and raising awareness.
“This, in addition to posters, stickers, flyers, email campaigns, branded packaging tape and a lead generating website has seen members open new accounts previously unattainable, for example one dealer got to tender for the local council on the back of the campaign having spent many years of trying to get a foot in the door without success. Another dealer won the business of a chain of estate agents, whilst on a regular basis dealers are feeding back increased loyalty, and spend, from existing accounts. The campaign has been a huge success.”
The next step for the initiative is a Keep It Local Week planned for 9-15th May, by which time Nemo Office Club will know the outcome from the latest awards nomination with the winners of the European Office Products Awards being announced at a Gala Dinner on 22 March 2022 at the Hotel Okura in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
